    Faculty Spotlight

    Melissa Bosworth, Program Director, Assistant Professor

    Melissa Bosworth, M.S., is a forward-thinking leader in health care, which she brings to her classrooms in the Division of Health Services Education. She is the founder of Vertical Strategies, a consultancy catering to health-focused nonprofits. She is also the Executive Director of the Eastern Plains Healthcare Consortium, a network of critical access hospitals who share resources and create economies of scale to ensure rural health sustainability and independence. Bosworth spent ten years administering long-term care services for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, along with creating policy at the state level. She previously worked in the oral health safety net, where she worked within 20 state governments to bring dental access to those with no means to pay. Bosworth graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s in neurologic music therapy, and she completed her clinical internship at the Center for Music Therapy in Austin, Texas. Her graduate degree was earned at Regis University in Health Services Administration. Bosworth is a fellow of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health Leaders program.

    Build Your Online Experience

    Regis is the only modern, Jesuit Catholic university in the Rocky Mountain region, but Rangers can live and learn anywhere. Designed for adult and working professionals, most online classes follow accelerated five or eight-week schedules. Programs also start up to six times per year, meaning you can pursue your education on your own schedule.
