    Faculty Spotlight

    Pamela Smallwood

    Pamela Smallwood is an assistant professor of Computer Science within the Anderson College of Business and Computing at Regis University. She has been at Regis since 1993, and currently teaches computer science courses for both traditional daytime and non-traditional evening and online undergraduate students. She is the editor of the Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges, Rocky Mountain region. Her current primary research focus is active learning techniques for teaching computer science. Pamela received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and her Master of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University. Prior to teaching at Regis, she was a Computer Systems Officer at Williams Air Force base, and then a Computer Systems Manager for the University of Dayton Research Institute.

    Regis is the only modern, Jesuit Catholic university in the Rocky Mountain region, but Rangers can live and learn anywhere. Designed for adult and working professionals, most online classes follow accelerated five or eight-week schedules. Programs also start up to six times per year, meaning you can pursue your education on your own schedule.
