    Dr. Frauke Bender

    Dr. Frauke Bender, Ph.D., is a senior marketing and communications expert with extensive experience in academia and in the corporate world. She worked as a professor in Germany and gained leadership experience as head of communications for a blue-chip real estate company. Prior to joining the Anderson College of Business and Computing, Dr. Bender held the role of a full professor of Marketing and Communications at the International School of Management in Hamburg, Germany. She earned her Doctorate in Economics with a thesis on international migration and a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in international management and marketing from the University of Münster, one of the leading German universities. During her academic career she also taught as Visiting Professor in the Netherlands and worked as a researcher at the International Organization for Migration in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Bender’s research and publications focus on the cross-cultural aspects of international business, marketing and real estate. Dr. Bender is member of the advisory board of the Wise Women Network promoting the empowerment of women in today’s business world. She has been serving as a judge for Model United Nations, as a parent volunteer for Young AmeriTowne and as a team coach for the global nonprofit project Destination Imagination.

Designed for adult and working professionals, most online classes follow accelerated five or eight-week schedules. Programs also start up to six times per year, meaning you can pursue your education on your own schedule.
